Cheap tool for my cheap bike ,performed very well .
You need a 24mm spanner with a fairly long handle.

Unless you're doing a lot of this work, this one is just the job. It might well be fine for more frequent use too.

What is the outside diameter of the tool?

I have an early 90s sachs freewheel I need to remove and the standard 12 spline tool is slightly too big.

compatability with large axle

Is the hole big enough to go over a 12mm axle? I have a rear hub motor and the tool I currently have will only fit over a 10mm axle bolt.
Internal dia 19.7mm
Internal depth 16.5mm
Length 24.7mm

Will accommodate 12mm axle.
