Excellent cable cutter

ConsCutting brake housing

ProsCutting all cables and gear housing

Cutting brake and gear cables with this was very easy as was housing for the gear cables. However, due to the constuction of brake housing, these cutters were not effective. I used a side cut plier instead. The inbuilt pick to reform housing is very useful as is the crimper for ferrules.
