No compromises. Its home is the road. Although the fast, sporty, tread-less slick weighs just 230g it still has a RaceGuard protection belt and reflective labels.

ConsExpect the occasional puncture ...

ProsEasy to fit, much faster feel

If you've ever had to change an inner tube when out riding...you may regret purchasing you're 'puncture proof' tyres.... they can be a pig to remove and get back on especially at the road side ... multiply by 10 if its a small wheel Brompton !!! These slick tyres slipped on with little difficulty in comparison with the usual struggle to get the old Schwalbe Marathons off the rim!!

Riding the brompton with these on is like riding a different machine too...much faster feel and a smoother ride.....

Maybe the trade off will be a few more punctures .... but given the ease of fitting ( abd hopefully removing) I'm almost looking forward to my first puncture!!!!!

Used Kojaks for fifteen years. Brilliant tyres for the Brompton daily and pretty puncture resistant for slicks too both on and off road.

ConsNot as puncture-resistant as Marathon Racers

ProsLight and fast

I've used these on my 20" wheeled recumbent for years but this the first time I've tried them on my Brompton. Very light and fast on the road and reasonably puncture-resistant. Probably not the best for touring or rougher roads but ideal for urban commuting.

I always fancied putting slicks on my Brompton and after fitting these I'm not disappointed, they are so fast.
