This is a very specific size tyre to fit Butcher's bikes etc, it's the 571 part (the rim internal diameter for the bead) that makes it unique. The type with the smaller front wheel are also stocked, these are 400mm bead seat.

Really good quality tyres which fit our vintage Elswick Hopper Model W perfectly. I am renovating a number of vintage delivery bikes and will be buying more of these excellent tyres. They are also great value for money.

The tyres are marked 'John Bull' 26"x2" to fit 26"x1 3/4" rim. Reference number BSF 12. The bead seating diameter measures approx. 570mm. Will these fit?
Thanks, Kevin.
Hi,

As your information supplied is not definite then I cannot confirm these will definitely be suitable, but it does look like these are a good option to try if you cannot confirm those.

Thanks

Hi,
I'm looking for a cycle tyre 26" x 1 5/8" x 1 3/8" rim size 1 3/4" ( 40 - 571 ).
Is your product suitable for this bicycle Thanks for helping.

Hi,

You have provided a number of tyre sizes, the rim size of 40-571 is different to 26"x1 3/4.

Please confirm exactly what you require.

Thanks.
Hi I have a Dunlop tyre 26 x 2 x 13/4

Hi I have a Dunlop tyre 26 x 2 x 13/4 but this profile is rubbing on rear chain stays do you have tyre to fit that is narrower? 26 x 13/4 ? please
Hi,

Unfortunately this tyre is the only tyre that we stock that is the correct size to fit your rim and the profile will be very similar to your Dunlop one so we would not be able to guarantee it fitting without rubbing as well I'm afraid.

Thanks.

I've measured BSD as 595 mm (maybe 597mm) will it fit??
Hi,

If you have measured the BSD at 595 then it is most likely the 597 size that you need.

Thanks.
Would This Tyre Fit My Cyclemaster (1952).

Original tyre was Dunlop Carrier. Rim is 26" by 1 1/2". I've measured rim bead diameter as approx 23". Rim width at bead seat is 24mm.
Would Journey Delivery Bike Tyre - 26 x 2 x 1 3/4 Inch , 54-571 fit?
Ron
Hi,

This tyre is unfortunately a different size so would not be suitable. If the bead is 23" then it should be the 584 26" size. We do a few options in this size including some Michelin tyres which are SJSC part number 2008.

Thanks.

Thanks for the guidance.

Internal rim width is 14mm. External is 17mm.

Can you recommended anything of a cyclo cross variety that might work?

Thanks
Hi,

Unfortunately as far as we're aware there aren't any Cyclocross type tyres produce in this rim size. All that is produced is narrow road tyres or this older type delivery tyre which is too wide for your rim, there isn't anything else available I'm afraid.

Thanks.
571 Tyre

Hi - have inherited a v nice kids islabike being 26 but it's specced as a race bike with 23x571 rims and narrowness road tyres.

Want to replace tyres with something more versatile.

Pretty sure these butcher tyres will fit the frame - but will they work on a narrow rim?

Thanks
Hi,

It will depend on how narrow the rims are, but it is very unlikely that these tyres will work I'm afraid. These tyres will require a rim with at least a 19mm internal width, so if you want to check yours they'll need to be at least this wide to work.

Thanks.
Could I Get These To Fit 26 - 571 (650 X 26C) Wheels?

Looking for slightly wider/bigger grip tyres for my wife's hybrid /road bike (for canal tow paths etc). If these don't fit are there any others that would do?
Hi,

Unfortunately these tyres are over double the width of your previous tyres so I very much doubt they'll be able to fit to the old rims let alone fit within the frame I'm afraid.

Thanks.
Are These Compatible With A Rim Currently Fitted With A 26 X 1 3/4 Tyre?
By
27 May 2016
The tyre has 47-571T and 650x45c printed on it too. I understand your tyre will probably be wider but is it the same bead seat diameter?
Hi,

These both have the same 571 bead seat diameter so this should fit your rims. It will be like you say around 7mm wider than your current tyres.

Thanks.
Can I Have This Tyre As A Solid Tyre?
By
29 Mar 2016
I am looking at buying x 80 pieces for trade use on ice cream cabinets and require a solid tyre offer
Hi,

Unfortunately this is the only tyre in this size we can offer. It's quite an unusual size so I find it quite unlikely anybody will be making solid tyres in this size I'm afraid.

Thanks.
