Hello,

I use the Triben 520 RC from Decathlon and specs say it is a 9mm QR axle on the front wheel. Is this wheel good to use with my bike please ? Thanks a lot for your help, cheers.
Thank you for your enquiry, yes will be fine as long as it is 100mm OLN spacing.

Would this wheel be compatible with a dawes galaxy cross?

If the bike is disk brake- uses 700c wheels and has QR dropouts then yes!

Could this wheel be used on a heavily laden touring bike?

If not Is there a similar wheel available with a 36 spoke count?
Also how easy is it to fit a rotor, is a mechanic required when knowledge is limited?
32 holes for a heavy touring bike with front and pear panniers should be ok- however, it very much depends on the exact weight you are carrying. If you are unsure- then 36 holes would be a safer option. Fitting a disk is very easy, and the only tools required are a torque wrench and correct bits.

Can the hub be converted to a 12mm thru axle? How easy is it to do if you can?

Thanks
No, these are QR only. You would need a PL-7 or PD-8 built up.

Thanks
