Rim tape
By Gareth Watts

Could you advise what size/type/width rim tape is required please?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi
We would recommend the Jante Velox rim tape, our part number is 761. If you then select the Medium size on the drop down menu that will cover what is required.
Kind Regards. 15/01/21 JP

do you have a source of spare axles for this wheel?

Further to Jackie's question at the end of last month - it is not quite clear whether you mean a direct replacement - ie a spare part - or an alternative. Please can you confirm whether you have spare axles for this wheel - 8mm axles do have a tendency to bend on the rubbish roads we have in rural Hampshire.
SJS Customer Service:
We stated, "Unfortunately we do not have anything suitable as a replacement." - we do not have any 8mm axles.

Can it be converted to quick release?

I see from one review that it could not be converted to QR? Why is that? Could I simply replace the axle with the QR axle from my current wheel (same size, too bent to be trued?)
SJS Customer Service:
Hi, your axle supports one half of the bearing surface - the cone, the hub body has the other half. The bearing surfaces are matched and the ball bearing are in between. There is no standardization so you can't mix and match parts. Thanks.
Are The Spokes Stainless Steel? Is The Axle Nut Standard 8Mm Thread?

No review, just a question.
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
The spokes are indeed stainless steel and the axle is standard 8mm thread.
Thanks.
