High quality Handbuilt Brompton fitting front wheel which is lighter, stronger and faster than the original, a fantastic upgrade for your Brompton.

The spec:
Jtek 8mm axle, sealed bearing Black alloy hub complete with allen key skewer built on to Brompton 16 x 1 3/8 , 349 Standard Drilled Double Wall Black Rim, (silver braking surface) with 14G 148mm stainless steel Black spokes.
Drilled for schrader valve.
Our superlight front hub will fit Brompton front forks, it's 75grams lighter than the standard Brompton hub and has much lower rolling resistance.

Could you advise difference to wheel part no. 37159

SJS Customer Service:

SJS part: 48220 is built using a Brompton own rim whereas the SJS part 37159 is built using Sun cr18 rims which are slightly lighter and far stronger.

What is the max tyre pressure

This uses the standard Brompton rim, we believe this to have a max pressure rating of 110/115PSI.
