This 3mm chainset spacer can also be used on the following chainsets:
- Shimano Ultegra FC-6703-G

- Shimano Sora FC-3403

These are an "A" match which indicates that the parts are the same in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.
If the correct chainset spacer is unavailable you can also use the spacer from the following chainset:

This is a "B" match which indicates that the parts are usable, but differ in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.

I changed the bb from BB-6700, which had a bigger outer diameter. Now the spacer is not fitting / is overlapping the outer cap of the BBR60.

Which side faces outward?

For a shimano FC-5703, should the side of the spacer shown in the picture face outward or inward? And should it be placed on the non drive side between the bottom bracket and the frame or between the bottom bracket and the left crank arm?

Shimano installation manual says "For the FC4603/R563,insert a spacer and a ring.". Does this spacer comes with one?
