Will this work with son delux and some wave revolution

Need to switch between lights or usb charging. I piggybacked the somewave wires onto the edelux wires but when I turn lights off it still doesn’t charge the usb..
This may be due to fact that rear light still on and drawing power when I switch front edelux 2 off..? Thanks
