ProsGood clamp
Not much to say about the clamp ... usual Shimano quality and does the job. Service from SJS was great as always ... can always rely on them for parts that are difficult to source.

I'd like to use this on a Surly Crosscheck with a 30mm diameter seat tube. Does it come with the correct shim to allow for this?

Hi

Thank you for your enquiry, yes the braze-on version of the FD-5800 will work with this adapter but not with the radius washer that is supplied with the derailleur. I hope this helps.

Does this come with the shims to use with a 28.6 frame? The technical specification sheet included says it does and so does the photo.
