ConsSeems unnecessary, and Shimano probably could’ve designed the changer better so it wasn’t needed
ProsIt’s the correct parts, allows you to dress the cable correctly, and it’s reasonably cheap
Good that SJS can supply genuine replacements although I don’t understand why Shimano decided it was necessary as it’s easy to lose and doesn’t seem to perform much of a useful function
