I recommend this product
I didn't need this version with the cable adjuster, so I drilled out the base with a 6mm drill and just used that part only. Seems to be working fine.
This is it.

We always thankful to sjs, selling this little but important pieces of our gears. Yet again i fixed my shifters with inexpensive way. You cannot easily find it somewhere else. What can i say it works great...

Same cap as Y6UN46000?

I have a Tiagra shifter which has the cap without the adjusting bolt, it just has the cap that slides onto the body of the shifter over the cable entry hole. The cap has broken and fallen off, so the outer cable now sits at all kinds of angles. The gear change still works most of the time, but I need to replace the cap. Could I buy this unit and just use the cap without the adjusting screw? I'm not sure if the two caps are the same?
