Shimano GRX RD-RX812 Stabilizer Unit - Y3GF98040
By

Good morning,
Sorry but I asked the question under the wrong article.
I have a question regarding Shimano GRX RD-RX812 Stabilizer Unit - Y3GF98040 and Shimano GRX RD-RX810 Stabilizer Unit - Y3GE98060. Is the stabilizer unit the same for both? The only difference is the bolt instead of the allen screw of the cam units? I only need the stabilizer unit for an XT RD-M81000 SGS rear derailleur. Is it possible to use the stabilizer unit Y3GE98060 for this rear derailleur? Thanks and best regards. Giuseppe Salini (Italy)
Shimano are pretty good at listing cross compatibility, and in this case they do not confirm this would work.
We agree, it looks very much the same except that bolt; without test fitting we could not advise more than that.
ETA on the correct one in around November, so maybe its worth a try!

Thanks - 20/07/20
