Could Be Better For The Price

ConsFiddly to fit (first time), untidy strap arrangement

ProsGood quality, voluminous, internal pockets

Undoubtedly the good quality we expect from Ortlieb without the awful closure of the Classic Rollers. However, getting them to fit my standard Blackburn rear carrier was far from simple compared to previous panniers I have owned (which were just: hook and go). Plenty of volume in them for the daily commute, but even with them almost full, the straps have to be adjusted to absolute minimum. This leaves huge spare loops sticking out to catch on undergrowth or gate latches, if you have a narrow cycle track to negotiate - not what I expect from such expensive kit!

are these a combined 40L (20L per bag) or 40L each?
